All three of them are in a special relationship with eastern Europe. And they want to tell you all about it.

SVETA GRIGORJEVA

Sveta is a bad girl. Well, perhaps even a bad bitch, pardon the French. An enfant terrible or as the Prodigy beat goes: "twisted firestarter".

In Estonia, she is known for her provocative poems, her uncompromising attitude towards minority and feminist issues, and being ruthlessly vocal about them in public. She is well-read and well-hated. Sveta studied choreography in Estonia and Germany, she fancies academia (junior researcher at EMTA), dark humour and social justice.

Her act at Tallinn Fringe 2024 is a blend of bad-gal-poetry and radical feminist stand-up. Brace yourselves for some fiery entertainment!

MARIAN VOSUMETS

Also known as “Too Feminist for Mainstream TV”, Marian gained an audience as a former TV presenter and culture critic thanks to her entertaining observations of British and Estonian culture.

Born and raised in Tallinn to Estonian parents and Russian relatives, Marian understads the power of code switching and what it means to be a post-Soviet kid. After graduating from the London Film Academy, she ventured into the world of filmmaking, producing film content for global brands and progressive publications.

She is currently developing her debut hour inspired from her culturally mixed upbringing, and her life as a foreigner in London. Building on her summer-long nostalgia trip in eastern Europe, Marian is bringing her certain style and verve to the stage, along with a fresh dose of satire.

LYDIA OYENIYI

Lydia lives to crack things up. A comic and a cool kid.

She is an experienced comedian, model and actor who has performed in bars, prisons and maternity wards.

With her unique sense of humor, profound dry wit, and likable demeanor, Lydia believes comedy is the quickest way to spark the intellect and a beautiful way of telling the truth. A Nigerian born, Ukraine & Latvian trained engineer, she uses her diverse background to relate to any type of crowd.

In addition to comedy, she has built a career in IT. Whenever she is not on stage, you can find her crushing numbers in a bank, watching detective movies and enjoying the fact that crimes are interesting and criminals are not.

NB! Show in English.
