All the art I didn’t show is an exhibition spread across the city of Tallinn.
You are invited to meet…
…all the art that was left unfinished.
…all the art that is nonsense.
…all the art that is covered in dust.
…all the art that has potential.
…all the art that may be bad.
…all the art that may not be that bad.
…all the art that may be good.
…all the art kept in the drawer.
…all the art I didn’t show.

Joonas Tagel (1990) is an Estonian performance and dance artist. He has graduated from the University of Tartu Viljandi Culture Academy (UT VCA) with a degree in dance arts and is soon acquiring a master's degree in Contemporary Physical Performance Making (CPPM) from the Estonian Academy of Music and Theater. In 2015–2017 he taught contemporary dance at UT VCA and in 2017–2020 at Tallinn Ballet School. During his master's studies, he has had the opportunity to be exposed to various aspects of performance making, calling into question his identity as an artist. This has led him to integrate different art practices with his previous experiences to take his artistic practice in new directions.
As a maker and performer, he has collaborated with many inspiring and renowned theatres/artists in Estonia and abroad: Jarkko Partanen and Anni Klein's Fluids (Sõltumatu Tantsu Lava / WAUHAUS), Jack Traylen’s Celebration piece (Tallinn Dance Theater), Kadri Sirel's Aiapäkapikk (Sõltumatu Tantsu Lava), Peader Kirk and Simona Gonella’s 99-hour durational performance Where do we go from here (CPPM, Kanuti Guild Hall, Elektron.live) and the audio-walk project Walking Together Alone in collaboration with Helgard Haug and Imanuel Schipper (Rimini Protokoll).
CPPM Manifestal is a celebratory international festival exploring dance, body, art, sound, multimedia and creativity.
