Learn to work with an embroidery hoop and create your own small collection of outline and filling stitches. Experiment with yarns of different textures and discover how they affect your design. The stitches you learn will form the basis for implementing your own designs in an embroidery project, which you can start during the course.

Barbara Muff
Barbara Muff (studied Fashion Design FHNW Basel | Art Education HSLU Lucerne, co-founder and managing director of the Institute for Textile Research Basel) got to know and love various embroidery applications during her studio scholarship in Mexico and several trips to South America. Using examples she brought with her, she will show where she draws inspiration from time and again.
