We will meet at Tate Britain to immerse ourselves, together with Tamara Natanovna Eidelman, in the work of the British artist William Turner.
The collection of William Turner’s paintings at Tate Britain delivers such a powerful emotional impact that it’s not easy to recover from it.
You stand before this explosion of color and try to understand: how did this artist see the world, how did he carry all of this within himself — and you can’t quite grasp it. And yet, you want to keep looking, again and again, trying to make sense of it.
We will talk about the enigmatic figure of William Turner — his life, his time, which he was ahead of. And also about light and color, about the elements and the universe that he brought to life on canvas.
