CONCERT FOR THE BODY – SOUND MASSAGE
Saturday 22. August at 14:00 - 18:00
Tatari 64, 5th floor (TRÜKIKODA), room 521
During a sound massage, we experience sounds and vibrations with the whole body. The long, slowly fading tones and deep vibrations of singing bowls help the body and mind relax and allow inner tensions to ease.
The sound and vibration of a large singing bowl can last for several minutes. It can create a feeling of the body almost merging with the sound. Some people also experience inner images, colours or other personal sensations during the session.
Singing bowls do not necessarily need to be placed directly on the body. Their vibrations can be clearly felt even from a distance, so the entire session can also be experienced without any physical contact, if preferred.
My sound massage is different from a traditional singing bowl session. As a professional musician, I use a wide variety of instruments – singing bowls, gongs, Tibetan bells and other instruments. The bassoon adds its own unique colour to the experience, and I improvise with it right beside the person.
One of my sound massage guests in Munich, who was a therapist herself, stood up after the session and said:
“This is truly a CONCERT FOR THE BODY!”
From that day on, I have called my sound massage “Concert for the Body.”
The sound massage is experienced fully clothed – lying on the back or stomach, sitting or standing, depending on personal preference. You can also enjoy the session comfortably under a blanket.
I call my unique constellation of instruments and sounds “Sound of the Flower” – high, delicate tones and deep vibrations blend together into one immersive journey through sound.
