The programme combines works already loved by the public with new compositions — preserving echoes of the past while surprising with their form and expressiveness.
The passion of tango, the whirl of the waltz, the delicacy of the minuet, the majesty of the polonaise, the dance of silent breath...

Astor Piazzolla (1921–1992, Argentina) – The Four Seasons (violin, cello, piano) – 25’
A tango poem about the seasons, blending tango, jazz and Argentine folklore, where each season expresses rhythm, emotion and temperament.

Franz Schubert (1797–1828, Austria) – Military March in D major (piano) – 5’
More than a march: a lively and luminous dance, reflecting Austrian culture.

Claude Debussy (1862–1918, France) – Suite bergamasque (piano) – 15’
French reverie and melancholy, stylisation of ancient dances, with the famous ‘Clair de lune’.

Alfred Schnittke (1934–1998, Russia/Germany) – Tango (piano, violin) – 4’
Fragile emotion, nostalgia and gentle irony.

Manuel de Falla (1876–1946, Spain) – Dance of Fire (El amor brujo) (piano) – 3’
Spanish flamenco and mysticism: intense and hypnotic dance around the fire, passionate and fascinating.

Aram Khachaturian (1903–1978, Armenia) – Adagio (Spartacus) (piano, violin) – 8'
Armenian lyricism and drama, intimacy and emotional nuances.

Egor Kurdello – ‘The End of a Beautiful Era’, world premiere (piano, violin, cello) – 20'
This four-movement work intertwines minuet, bolero, sarabande, waltz, saltarello, polonaise and other ancient forms in an eclectic fabric reflecting our contemporary world.

A few words about the musicians:

Egor KURDELLO (piano, composition, vocals) - pianist, organist and composer, soloist at the ‘New Opera’ and guest of the Mariinsky Theatre.
Egor Kurdello and his famous blue jacket are already well known to Lyon audiences: over the past three years, he has given around thirty concerts in the region and more than forty concerts in France.
His works are performed by leading musicians on the world's greatest stages. Beyond classical music, he is renowned for his collaborations with Ennio Morricone and Peter Gabriel.

Mikhail MORDVINOV (piano) - known for his successes at the Robert Schumann Competition in Zwickau (1996) and the Franz Schubert Competition in Dortmund (1997). He has performed as a soloist in the world's greatest concert halls: the Philharmonie and Konzerthaus in Berlin, the Gasteig and Herkulessaal in Munich, the Meistersingerhalle in Nuremberg, the Laeiszhalle in Hamburg, the Minneapolis Orchestra Hall, the Megaron in Athens, the Atheneum in Bucharest, the Minato Mirai Hall in Yokohama, the Sejong Art Centre in Seoul, the Shanghai Oriental Art Centre, and the Moscow Conservatory and Philharmonic Hall.

Christian LAFONT (cello) - trained in France and Russia, founder of the Festival "Semaine musicale à Chambord", has been collaborating with Egor Kurdello and Alexei Aigui since 2023.

Anna SALNIT (violin) — winner of international competitions, active soloist and chamber musician, first violin in several orchestras, member of the Sempre Musica trio. She performs regularly in the Baltic States and Europe. Her playing captivates with its passion and delicate lyrical fragility.
