TRIP INFORMATION

Join us on a 2-day trip along the stunning Croatian coast, visiting Rijeka, Krk, Pula, and Rovinj on the 1st and 2nd of November 2025. 🌊 This weekend getaway offers a perfect mix of seaside charm, laid-back vibes, and a chance to discover some of the most picturesque towns in Istria. Whether you're into coastal walks, good food, or just enjoying time with friends by the sea, this trip is made for you. ☀️

TRIP SCHEDULE

1st DAY (Ljubljana – Rijeka – Krk - Vantačići)
We’ll depart from Ljubljana early in the morning and head south towards Rijeka, one of Croatia’s major port cities. You’ll have some free time to explore Rijeka at your own pace — take a stroll down Korzo, the city’s lively pedestrian street, or visit Trsat hill for one of the best panoramic views of the city and the Kvarner bay. Rijeka also offers plenty of charming cafés, local restaurants, and waterfront spots perfect for a relaxed snack. 🌅

In the early afternoon, we’ll continue our journey to the island of Krk, connected to the mainland by a scenic bridge. We’ll arrive in Krk town in the afternoon, giving you time to enjoy its laid-back coastal charm. You can explore the picturesque harbour, visit the Krk cathedral or the Frankopan castle, or simply unwind with a drink or ice cream by the sea. 🏝️

As the day winds down, we'll go to Vantačići, a peaceful coastal village near Malinska, where we'll spend the night. This is the perfect spot if you’re craving a weekend escape without stress — think quiet beaches, sea breeze, and good company. You’ll have the evening free to relax, enjoy the sunset, and hang out together on the beach or at the hostel. The vibe here is all about unwinding and making the most of the easy island life. ☀️

2nd DAY (Vantačići – Pula – Rovinj – Ljubljana)
After breakfast at the hostel, we’ll head out towards Pula, arriving late in the morning. You’ll have free time to wander through the old town, grab a snack, or take in the impressive exterior of the Pula Arena, one of the best-preserved Roman amphitheatres in the world. The city centre also offers a lively mix of cafés and small boutiques perfect for a chill Sunday stroll. 🏛️

Around early afternoon, we’ll continue to Rovinj, one of the most photogenic towns on the Adriatic. Upon arrival, enjoy some time to explore its colourful streets, walk up to St. Euphemia’s church for panoramic views, or simply relax by the harbour with a gelato in hand. The city’s laid-back vibe and Mediterranean charm make it a perfect final stop on our journey. 🎨

In the evening hours, we’ll begin our return trip to Ljubljana. Join us for this coastal weekend escape and enjoy a relaxed blend of sunshine, sea and fun. 🌅
