CRAFT CORNER
With Ilya and Emma
Warmly welcome to our textile craft workshop, where we take a moment to slow down, create with our hands and explore natural materials and traditional craft techniques. As part of the festival’s themes HERITAGE and TABOO, we want to highlight the beauty of natural materials and bring new appreciation to traditional practices such as felting, knitting and crocheting using materials like wool and linen.
During the workshop, you are invited to create freely and let your imagination guide you. Perhaps you would like to make a small bag, a keychain, a hat or something completely different that emerges along the way? No previous experience is needed! Everyone is welcome to experiment, learn and enjoy the process of making!
Materials and tools will be available on site, and we – Emma and Ilya – will be present throughout the workshop to guide, inspire and assist you whenever needed. Come craft with us, discover the joy of creating with your hands, and share a moment of creativity, connection and care.
Duration: 4 hours
The workshop is facilitated in Finnish, English and Swedish.
