Music from Rachel Button and Jack Boyd - two inspired singer-songwriters.

Jack Boyd is a banjo player and singer of Appalachian folk, who has taken the music all around the world. Having performed traditional Appalachian music at festivals such as Sidmouth Folk Festival and Maverick festival, Jack’s clawhammer style is rooted in the traditions of the instrument, and he will be singing a collection of murder ballads, travelling songs, and laments on both the banjo and guitar.

Rachel Button is a British singer-songwriter, fiddle player and vocal coach. She is at the forefront of the British folk music scene and has been privileged to perform at The Royal Albert Hall, The Roundhouse, Kensington Palace and The Great British Folk Festival.

Rachel’s music swept her across the atlantic to North America where she lived in Nashville and Vancouver, writing, performing and recording her music.

“Absolutely Lovely” – BBC Radio West Midlands

Upon moving to Nashville, TN, Rachel recorded with Grammy award-winning producer Paul Worley (Lady Antebelum, Dixie Chicks) and Juno award winning producer David Kalmusky, (Journey, John Oates) and recorded backing vocals for the duet ‘Life On The Line’ with country artists Darius Rucker and Fiona Culley. Rachel wrote songs with friends Tenille Townes and Blessing Offor.

“Elfin-like Button has a distinctive voice that will take her far. You can’t help but compare her to the major songstresses”. – The Pulse
