We’re cranking up the laughs at Fuel Road House with a proper night of stand-up comedy — headline acts, a top-tier compère, and a crowd-ready atmosphere.

This isn’t your average night out. Expect sharp writing, big laughs, and a proper good time from start to finish.

Nathan Eagle

Nathan Eagle is an epically engaging storyteller who can take any crowd with him as he explores growing up working class, life as a care home nurse & even showing off his surprisingly gymnastic party trick! It's quite the show.

Mags McHugh

Mags McHugh is a powerhouse of comedy with a razor-sharp tongue and a heart full of humour. As a star of BBC’s Naked Lunch and recently championed by Ricky Gervais, she is one of the brightest new stars on the comedy scene. Hailing from Ireland and blazing her way across the UK and European comedy circuits, Mags is a no-nonsense, high-energy storyteller who lights up every room she enters.

Gavin Webster (The Headline Act)

Gavin is a warm and friendly Geordie, a confident, experienced stand-up comic with an interesting stage persona – a mixture of paranoid schizophrenic, confrontational and effortlessly funny.

Gavin’s set switches from friendly pub philosopher to ranting rabble-rouser with sharp one-liners, smug observations and sardonic ukelele songs. His set is loud and attention grabbing and he makes a good host with plenty of compering experience.

Famed and respected by his peers for his uncompromising and unusual approach and distinctly original routines, he now boasts a large cult following round the country and particularly on his native Tyneside where he sells out theatres with his one man ninety minute shows.

Our resident MC and one half of Comedy Republic Stephen Carlin will be our host this evening. The Scotsman will have the audience instantly hooked and mildly aroused with his Scottish charm and accent... especially when he pronounces the "h's" in words like "who, what, when, why" and....."whip!"
