Cluain Oir Activity Day - January

It's our January Activity Day! and the first one for 2026.

We know there are quite a few people interested in making their first garb, or just some new garb, so we have a treat for you all!

We will have not just one but two garb-making teachers for you!
You will be able to consult, not just with our resident garb-expert Lady Mor, but we will also be able to enjoy the expertise of Mistress Christine Bess Duvaunt (Lochac), costumer and garb-maker extraordinaire who will be in town again and happy to come and teach!

Bring your fabric, sewing kit and ideas and get off to a great start!

You are also very welcome to bring period crafts you’d like to work on in company. There are plenty tables available for sewing or other crafts which people wish to do. There will be the usual music and dance, and Fencing will start at noon and after a lunchbreak will continue in the afternoon. Coffee, Tea and biscuits provided!
