Class of '24 Festrogen Open Mic

Ever wonder how comedians produce such tight jokes? They work on them, honing and refining them on different audiences at open mics.

We are proud to present this open mic for those who took part in the Festrogen joke-writing workshops (beginners or authentic joke writing).

Come and cheer on our budding performers, support your friends and loved ones or simply enjoy an evening hearing about other people’s problems.

Who is on the bill?

Performers will be all those who took part in the Festrogen joke-writing workshops as part of Festrogen '24. Participation is not compulsory. Names of performers to be announced at the mic.

The show is free to attend but there will be a cash collection at the end that will be shared among performers.

What is Festrogen?

Festrogen Festival is a women-centric comedy festival which aims to level the playing field for marginalised voices in stand-up comedy and promote equality by organising professional development workshops and shows.
This open mic is part of a three-day line-up of fabulous performances and workshops.
