Join Ranger Toni and Forest School Leader Pauline on Monday the 14th of July at 1pm for some treemendous fun!
Step into the magical woodland of Caerlaverock National Nature Reserve, where every tree has a story and every leaf holds a secret! Join us for a hands on adventure as we discover the names and shapes of our leafy neighbours, play fun tree themed games, and get messy (in the best way!) making beautiful leaf print art to take home. Whether your child's a budding botanist or just love climbing logs and spotting squirrels, this session is the perfect way to connect with nature and let their creativity grow.
This is session is for children aged 8-12 years old. Children can be left unaccompanied, but parents and guardians are more than welcome to stay and play too! Children will be supervised by 2 Forest School Leaders who are PVG checked. Please note: If your child requires additional support or has behavioural needs, we kindly ask that a parent or carer accompanies them during the session, as we are unable to provide 1:1 support.
These events are led by Dumfries & Galloway Woodlands with funding from the D & G Coastal Benefit Fund and the Solway Coast & Marine Project (SCAMP).
Dumfries & Galloway Woodlands is a charity supporting trees, habitats and the people that depend upon them in our region. For more information about our organisation, or to sign up as a member, visit www.dgwoodlands.org.uk or follow us on social media!
