A Sport with History
Curling has deep Scottish roots dating back to the early 16th century. The oldest known curling stone, discovered in Scotland, is engraved with the year 1511. While early depictions by Pieter Bruegel the Elder suggest the game was also played in the Low Countries, Scotland shaped and popularised curling worldwide. Today, the sport is celebrated globally for its unique blend of precision, tactics, and camaraderie.
Don’t miss this sporty and social evening on the ice — and be part of BritCham’s growing curling legacy.
We look forward to seeing you there! 🥌
