Brazitalian Abroad - A Work in Progress Comedy Show

Selva Comedy Cafe, Lisboa

It’s been a long time coming…

In April 2015, I walked into a comedy club for the first time to support a friend who had just started doing stand-up. Little did I know he had secretly signed me up, and that one unexpected night would kick off this crazy journey.

Fast-forward to today, and I’m working on my first solo hour: Brazitalian Abroad.

Growing up as a forever immigrant, living and travelling around the world, trying to figure out my identity, and somehow finding myself in beautiful Portugal — there’s been a lot to unpack. And apparently, a lot to laugh about.

Brazitalian Abroad is a show about belonging everywhere and nowhere, cultural misunderstandings, and the absurdities of trying to figure out who you are when home is never just one place.

Before taking the show to Barcelona Fringe, I’m bringing it to Lisbon for a little test run.

This is a work-in-progress show, which means the jokes are still finding their feet, some stories might take unexpected turns, and you get to be part of figuring out what works before I take it on the road.

Tickets are just €5 — think of it as sponsoring my pan con tomate while I work out the rest.

Selva Comedy Café, Lisbon

Show starts at 8:30 PM
