Reeves stars as Jonathan Harker, a young solicitor sent to Transylvania to complete a property transaction with the mysterious Count Dracula. What begins as a routine assignment soon descends into a nightmare as Harker discovers his host's true identity, while Dracula journeys to London in pursuit of Mina Murray, convinced she is the reincarnation of his long-lost love.

Determined to recreate the spirit of early cinema, Coppola insisted that almost every visual effect be achieved in camera rather than through emerging digital technology. Miniatures, forced perspective, elaborate matte work, shadow play and theatrical lighting combine to produce a film that feels timeless, dreamlike and unlike anything else in modern studio filmmaking. The result is one of the last great examples of large-scale practical movie magic.

Alongside Gary Oldman, Winona Ryder, Anthony Hopkins and Tom Waits, Reeves brings an earnestness that grounds the film's operatic emotion. While Dracula himself dominates the story, Harker's journey from naïve outsider to traumatised survivor provides its emotional foundation, reflecting the quiet sincerity that has always distinguished Reeves' performances.

More than three decades later, BRAM STOKER'S DRACULA remains one of the most visually sumptuous horror films ever made. Romantic, terrifying and unapologetically extravagant, it stands as both a celebration of Bram Stoker's immortal novel and a tribute to the history of cinema itself.

FOOD AND DRINK POLICY: FOMO Cinema Lounge Bar opens 1 hour before the first screening of the day and closes at 02:00, serving a wide selection of beer, wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic refreshments, as well as fresh hot popcorn! Outside food is allowed in the bar but not in the cinema. No alcohol from outside allowed. All guests are invited to arrive early and stay late!
