A free bat talk and guided walk by Malcolm Haddow from SWSEIC in Boreland.
We'll meet at the Boreland Town Hall at 7pm. Parking is available on site.
The bat walk will commence when dusk sets in. Which is forecast around 8pm.
We’ll then go out for a walk around the surrounding area to look for signs of bats. We'll be using bat detectors to locate our quarry.
The event is free to attend, and anyone is welcome. Numbers are restricted to 15 attendees max so spaces will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
The route is pathed but is uneven and muddy in places so outdoor footwear is advised. A jacket in case of rain and some water is also recommended. A torch is also reccomended so attendees can see where they are going.
This event was made possible by funding awarded by the National Lottery community fund.
