Have you always wanted to design your own ring?
In just 3 hours, you will carve, engrave, and sand your wax ring, which we will then cast in recycled silver. Within 2–3 weeks, you will receive your unique piece by post!
During the BISHU workshop, you will have the opportunity to create your very own ring in wax, which will serve as the mold for casting your ring in silver (or gold-plated brass). In a playful and intuitive way, and guided by us, you will design your ring according to your own ideas. Your design will be carved in wax and later cast by us in recycled silver, then professionally finished by goldsmiths. Around two weeks after the workshop, your finished ring will be sent to you.
For both production and materials, we focus on local and recycled metals, meaning the entire value chain of the ring takes place in Switzerland: carved by you, cast in Schaffhausen using recycled silver, and finished to your desired size by goldsmiths in our studio.
