Sunday 28. September at 16:00 - 17:00
St. Nicholas Church, Gent
Maria Eichler has a beautiful, rich, and warm voice. She is originally from Germany and now lives in Ghent.
Together with the renowned organist and improviser Paul De Maeyer, she will give a recital on Sunday, September 28 at 4 p.m. in St. Nicholas’ Church in Ghent in support of the non-profit Uilenspel.v
This wonderful organization, run by volunteers, supports vulnerable children in primary education. At present, they are in great need of financial assistance.
St. Nicholas’ Church is one of the oldest churches in Ghent, centrally located on the Korenmarkt with its entrance on Cataloniëstraat. The concert is part of the “Heart of Ghent” project of the Friends of St. Nicholas’ Church. Heart of Ghent introduces visitors to the magnificent organs of St. Nicholas’ Church.
Uilenspel vzw helps children in vulnerable situations move forward by providing home-based educational support. Uilenspel is running a crowdfunding campaign to continue this valuable work. Will you help make a difference? Donate via:
