Description
Polish pianist Marcin Masecki integrates a variety of performance practices and innovative approaches into his musical activities, offering listeners unexpected ways of seeing well-known works. Masecki graduated from Berklee College of Music and in 2005 was awarded the main prize at the International Jazz Piano Competition in Moscow.

The Lutosławski Quartet, comprising outstanding musicians, has been active since 2007 and is one of the most important chamber ensembles in Poland. The quartet has devoted itself to performing and recording music by Polish composers at a high level. Since the early years of the ensemble, the quartet has collaborated with contemporary composers and a number of new works have been dedicated to them. To celebrate Beethoven’s 250th birthday, the ensemble will perform a selection of Beethoven’s chamber pieces together with Marcin Masecki.

The concert is happening in cooperation with the Polish Embassy and the Adam Mickiewicz Institute.

Tickets 15€ / 25€ / 50€ are available at Fienta and the centre's box office. Supporter's ticket of 50€ will entail a guided tour of the entire house after the concert. The guide will wait for you at our info desk.
