Thursday 20. November at 18:30 - 21:30
Palo Alto Club, Tallinn
The arrival of the Beaujolais Nouveau 2025 is one of the most exciting traditions in the world of wine, culminating in a simultaneous global release.
Here in Estonia, the France Estonia Chamber of Commerce (CCI France Estonie) is hosting the official celebration in partnership with the French Embassy in Estonia and our Member Veiniateljee.
If you are looking to join the most anticipated business and social gathering of the season, here is everything you need to know about the 2025 vintage and the exclusive party in Tallinn!
What is Beaujolais Nouveau? (And Why is it a Global Event?)
Beaujolais Nouveau is a light, fresh red wine produced in the Beaujolais region of France. It is unique because it is the first wine of the harvest to be released, meant to be consumed immediately, celebrating the year's successful grape harvest.
The Grape: It is made exclusively from the Gamay grape.
The Taste: Flavors are vibrant and fruity, often described as notes of red cherry, raspberry, and banana, achieved through a rapid process called carbonic maceration.
The Rule: The wine must be released at 12:01 a.m. on the third Thursday of November. This fixed date—established in 1985—transforms a simple wine release into a massive, globally synchronized marketing and logistics feat.
We look forward to sharing this festive moment with you !
