Baltic–Nordic BritCham Forum, Riga, 9 November

Wellton Riverside SPA Hotel, Rīga

This regional forum will connect British Chambers of Commerce and business communities across the Baltic and Nordic countries

On Monday, 9 November 2026, Riga will host the inaugural Baltic–Nordic BritCham Forum, bringing together British Chambers of Commerce, their members, business leaders and partners from across the Baltic and Nordic region. The Forum will take place at the Wellton Riverside SPA Hotel.

This forum will establish a new regional platform for building high-quality business networks, strengthening cross-border cooperation and creating new commercial partnerships.

Discussions will focus on the challenges shaping the Baltic and Nordic region, as well as the business opportunities emerging in defence, education, energy, finance and other strategically important sectors. The detailed programme and speaker line-up will be announced shortly.

The Forum is organised by the British Chamber of Commerce in Latvia, in close cooperation with the British Embassy in Riga and BritCham partners from across the Baltic and Nordic countries. It will also mark the conclusion of BritCham Latvia’s 30th-anniversary programme.

His Majesty’s Ambassador to Latvia, Kathy Leach, said:

“The Baltic and Nordic countries are united by strong values, close connections with the United Kingdom and a shared interest in building secure, innovative and competitive economies. This Forum offers an important new platform through which businesses can exchange knowledge, develop trusted partnerships and transform regional cooperation into practical opportunities.”

Chairman of the British Chamber of Commerce in Latvia,Gordon Latimir, said:

“It is both a great honour and a significant responsibility for BritCham Latvia to launch what we hope will become a fruitful and lasting regional tradition. Our ambition is for the Forum to rotate between capitals across the region, allowing participants to discover each country, engage with its BritCham community and connect with the wider local business network.”

“We are immensely grateful to our Baltic and Nordic partners for their trust, enthusiasm and commitment to co-creating this initiative. There could be no better way for BritCham Latvia to conclude its 30th-anniversary celebrations—or to begin its next 30 years—than by looking beyond borders and bringing our regional business communities closer together.”

The full programme will be announced shortly, but tickets are already available through Fienta

Founded in Riga in 1996, the British Chamber of Commerce in Latvia is one of Latvia’s longest-established foreign chambers of commerce. For 30 years, BritCham Latvia has operated continuously, adapting its priorities and activities to the changing needs of businesses and its members while promoting economic and professional cooperation between Latvia and the United Kingdom.
