About the acts:
Kaisa Pylkkänen is a walking oxymoron: a middle-aged teenager, an anarchist control freak, and an easy going feminist, who suffers from penis envy. As the shoemaker's kids go barefoot, Finnish award-winning comedian Kaisa Pylkkänen has no mental health or faith! She was recently voted Comedian of The Year by her peers in Finland, and has performed in over 15 countries.
Mari Volar is an international comedian, MC and comedy producer from Estonia. Mari lives in Cologne, Germany, where she produces weekly stand up shows in English as well as being a regular feature on international line-ups across mainland Europe.
Her comedic style is cheerful yet dry as she balances observational jokes against the reality of being a perpetual outsider. Mari proudly brings more feminism into her comedy and more comedy into her feminism, creating an over-the-top mix in both that simply cannot be missed. Her witty remarks and tales of immigrant living will make you love, hate and pity her in perfectly equal amounts.
Ann Vaida has been doing standup comedy since 2018. Her jokes are a delightful fusion of playful whimsy and societal absurdities. It is like a puzzle that you playfully put together and the range of topics is wide – from picking mushrooms to what the hell is being a human is actually about. She has toured two solo hours in Estonia, done many show-case shows, written for newspapers and TV, and has a weekly political commentary podcast.
