ARm #2 “Joik Noir - Find your Voice”

A workshop by Torgeir Vassvik aka VASSVIK the circumpolar Sámi sound poet.

Torgeir Vassviks joik reveals the deepest vibrations and most beautiful overtones of the human soul, resonating with experimental, playful and groovy expressions on his guitar and frame drum. The culture of the Sámi indigenous people is anchored in Torgeir Vassvik's genes. But the archaic in his projects forms only a starting point for border crossings, experiments and modern improvisation. 4 solo records and have given concerts in more than 27 countries.

This event will take place outdoors, in the neighbourhood of Oslo Fjordskole, Bekkelaget. We recommend warm clothing and dressing according to weather conditions.
