Antwerp's FIRST All-Female Comedy Night...The F-Word!
Wednesday 18. March at 20:00 - 22:00
Doors open at 7pm
De Groene Waterman, Antwerpen
Presenting the first EVER female Comedy Night in Antwerp! Hosted by character-comedian, Kym Nelson who has hosted many sold out female comedy nights in Brussels (one even selling out within 48 hours and reported on in the Brussels Times!)
She'll be joined by some of the funniest rising female comedians on the comedy circuit.
With the comedy world known to be masculine and most well-known comedians being male, we thought it was about time for an all-female line-up. Expect to be entertained and inspired by some seriously funny women!
And yes, the men can watch - they are more than welcome and see the myth destroyed that women can't be funny!
Venue: De Groene Waterman Bookstore (in the Comedy Cellar)
Doors open: 7.15pm
Show starts: 8pm
The F-Word Line-Up:
Host: Kym Nelson @kym_comedyplayground
Kym is a character comedian hailed by a theatre critic as "a great and relatable storyteller." She has written and performed two acclaimed solo shows, appears regularly at comedy clubs and festivals-including the Edinburgh Fringe, and teaches comedy across the UK and Belgium. Her work also extends beyond the stage, helping professionals bring humour, confidence, and connection into the workplace.
Mohna Joshi (Headliner) @mohnarocks
Mohna is a bold, sassy and has a wicked sense of humour! She draws her material from her dating adventures, living in India and the Netherlands, and the unpredictable challenges of expat life - with charm, warmth, and zero filters. Mohna has performed across the Netherlands, in major European cities and internationally in Bangkok, London, Mumbai, New York and Limassol Comedy Festival, and Edinburgh & Tallinn Fringe Festivals.
Andréa van der Meel @_andreavdm
Born in New Zealand and armed with a Dutch last name she can barely pronounce, Andréa is living proof that heritage doesn’t automatically equal integration. She’s also a little deaf, which makes every performance an adventure - so laugh from the belly, at full volume, and bonus points if you add subtitles. Andréa was nominated for a Best Social Media NL Award after her viral Duolingo video, which shared a hilarious take on learning Dutch with a side of Dutch directness. On stage, she delivers sharp observations, chaotic storytelling, and jack-in-the-box energy you won’t want to miss.
Danielle Scott @_danielle_scott_
Danielle Scott is an actor, comedian and writer who performed at Camden and Edinburgh Fringe with her autobiographical, one-woman dark comedy Sour Candi. When she’s not making comedy sketches or popping up in feature films, she’s creating larger than life characters. On stage, you can expect high energy, questionable wisdom, and at least one story you’ll be relieved didn’t happen to you.
Annelien Vercauteren @annelien_vercauteren
Annelien is an actress, comedian, voice artist, and screenwriter with more than 25 years of stage experience-mostly in theatre, with the occasional detour into TV and commercials. Her leap into stand-up began when clips from her one-woman show unexpectedly landed her first comedy gig. She's been delivering sharp, dark, and deliciously uncomfortable jokes ever since.
