Anna Beros - High Hoe: Standup Comedy in English Gent Belgium

Who’s praising us for being good adults? asks Beros, wiping her powdery nose after spending all her savings on egg freezing. Celebrating the burdens of our privilege and lovingly pegging social norms from behind, Beros dances between self-love and self-sabotage with sharp standup and playful audience interaction in her 3rd solo following 'Creampie Curious' and 'Creampie Clarity'.

She straddles the topic of motherhood, unravels the attraction of narcissists and fine-tunes her reward systems. 'High Hoe' has toured Germany and Luxembourg and enjoyed a successful full run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2025.

Kiwi born, Melbourne raised and Berlin saved, Beros has been a full-time professional standup comedian and producer since 2022, erecting her comedy production label, Adults ONLY Comedy Berlin in 2019. She hosts and headlines her 3 weekly open mics and 2 weekly showcases and is a regular headliner in major European cities.

She’s written for Comedy Central DE, hosts the comedy channel, Ersties Nonsense and has the podcast Adults ONLY Comedy Berlin with 161 episodes. Check it out!

Beros celebrates life’s struggles with cheeky incisive standup and warming audience interaction. She opened for Jeff Arcuri at Admiralspalast twice in Berlin 2025, for April Macie on US army bases in 2024, and for Ian Fidance in 2019.

She tours Europe and enjoyed successful runs at the Edinburgh Fringe 2023-2025, Melbourne International Comedy Festival 2023-2024, Leicester Comedy Festival 2024 and Adelaide Fringe 2023 with her solos 'Creampie Curious', ‘Creampie Clarity’ and ‘High Hoe’.
