Rooftop terrace closing party & opening of the Omar Victor Diop exhibition

We invite you to the last party of the season at Fotografiska Rooftop Terrace to close the season and open the exhibition of young Senegalese photographer Omar Victor Diop.

The amapiano, born as a fusion of club music, deep house and local music styles kwaito and bacardi, will be played throughout the night by DJs Raul Saaremets, Siim Nestor and Laura Nestor.

The Fotografiska restaurant offers an African-inspired food and drink menu. Sustainably, of course.

During the party, Omar Victor Diop will also be giving a tour of the exhibition. Diop's striking photographs show a contemporary sense of Africa and often focus on the rewriting of history, the diasporic experience and the global politics of black resistance. The blending of photography and other art forms broadens Diop's creative reach. The exhibition includes fine art, fashion, design and portraiture.
