Improv comes home to the theatre!
The Playground is pleased to be hosting After Hours, featuring different improv groups from both Ireland and beyond.
Join us on Saturday 17th October where we have three great acts performing.
New In Town
New In Town are a newly formed narrative improv troupe from the New Improv Theatre, graduating from the Narrative Improv program after six weeks of learning, experimenting and developing their own original narrative show. As an ensemble, they’ve come together to create a brand-new piece of narrative improv, which they’re excited to share with a live audience for the very first time.
Blank Cop, Blank Cop
Blank Cop, Blank Cop are Dublin's premiere Buddy-Cop-movie-themed improv group featuring all lads with names derived from the name Mīkhāʼēl. They are Michael Shannon, Michael Sullivan, and, Mícheál Ó Fearraigh!
Improv Trouple
What happens when you put together a couple and a third wheel? Across twenty minutes, you’ll see a bunch of scenes involving third wheels, but who will end up being the third wheel? Let’s find out!
