Ο ARCO είναι ένα ανοιχτό συλλογικό εγχείρημα πειραματισμού πάνω στη φόρμα του τραγουδιού. Τρία χρόνια μετά το ντεμπούτο άλμπουμ του, που κάποιοι κριτικοί θεώρησαν ένα από τα καλύτερα της χρονιάς, ο ARCO παρουσιάζει το ORAMA, το δεύτερο LP του.
Δώδεκα κομμάτια για δώδεκα σύνθετες προσωπικότητες, χτισμένες από τις σκιερές περιοχές της συνείδησης. Ένωση και σύγκρουση μεταξύ αρσενικού και θηλυκού, δημιουργικής βούλησης και καταστροφής, μοναξιάς και κοινότητας, φύσης και τεχνολογίας: το ORAMA είναι ένα όνειρο από εφήμερα φώτα που παλεύουν βίαια να υπάρξουν. Οι δαίμονες, η βία και οι ήττες που το μυαλό προσπαθεί να απομακρύνει υλοποιούνται σε δώδεκα μορφές που ζωντανεύουν για να διακηρύξουν την κοσμοθεωρία τους, σε ένα παιχνίδι με καθρέφτες, προτού εξαφανιστούν ξανά στην άβυσσο. Οράματα, ζωές διαλυμένες, συνείδηση, αφανισμός, αγωνία—και έπειτα ξανά χαρά, μουσική, χορωδιακές φωνές που μεταμορφώνονται και αλλάζουν δωμάτια, σώζοντας από την ασφυξία. Πολλαπλές προσεγγίσεις υφαίνουν ένα λογοτεχνικό και μουσικό πλέγμα που εμπλουτίζεται από εκφάνσεις διαφόρων ειδών, χωρίς να προσκολλάται σε κανένα, σχεδιασμένο για μια καθηλωτική ακουστική εμπειρία.Η ζωντανή εμπειρία του ORAMA είναι ένα κράμα μεταξύ ψηφιακών και αναλογικών οργάνων, ηχογραφήσεων πεδίου, διαλόγων και ψαλμών—ένα εσωτερικό ταξίδι αποκόλλησης από το εγώ.

Το συλλογικό σχήμα πίσω από το ORAMA αποτελείται από τους Andrea Guerrini, Erika Sofia Sollo, Nicholas Remondino, Cécile Delzant, Filippo Manfredi Giusti, με τη συνεργασία των dTHEd, Enrico Gabrielli και Tobia Poltronieri. Η ηχογράφηση πραγματοποιήθηκε στο στούντιο Indianizer Mountain από τον Manuel Volpe (Rubedo Recordings) και η μίξη έγινε από τον Carl Saff. Το άλμπουμ υποστηρίζεται από τις Admiratore Omonimo Records, TEGA και Pastificio Elettrico.

Bio.

Ο Andrea Guerrini γεννήθηκε στην Αρέτσο στις 09/12/1988. Αυτοδίδακτος πολυοργανίστας, είναι ενεργό μέλος των Walden Waltz και Moondrive, με τους οποίους έχει κυκλοφορήσει δύο άλμπουμ. Μαζί με τους Walden Waltz έχει εμφανιστεί σε Ευρώπη και Ηνωμένες Πολιτείες, κερδίζοντας το Los Angeles Music Award το 2012 με το τραγούδι "Looking Down", σε παραγωγή του Ron Nevison (The Who, Led Zeppelin, κ.ά.).
Το 2012, στη Μπολόνια, συμμετείχε στη δημιουργία του διαδικτυακού πολιτιστικού περιοδικού Tropismi.it (μουσική & λογοτεχνία). Το 2015 ίδρυσε το Pastificio Elettrico, ένα καλλιτεχνικό συλλογικό σχήμα αφιερωμένο σε συναυλίες και θεατρικές παραστάσεις.
Στο Τορίνο, έγραψε και συνέθεσε μουσική για το "Arconti", μια σειρά ηχητικών αφηγήσεων που παραγγέλθηκαν και μεταδόθηκαν από το Radio Banda Larga το 2018.
Το 2019 εξέδωσε το βιβλίο "Folly Bololy", αφιερωμένο στον Robert Wyatt, από τις εκδόσεις Arcana.
Το 2020, με το ψευδώνυμο ARCO, κυκλοφόρησε το ομώνυμο άλμπουμ του από τις Ammiratore Omonimo Records / Pastificio Elettrico, το πρώτο του LP μετά από μια σειρά σόλο αυτο-παραγωγών, εστιάζοντας στον πειραματισμό με τη φόρμα του τραγουδιού.
Το 2023, κυκλοφόρησε το ORAMA, το δεύτερο άλμπουμ του, που έτυχε εξαιρετικής κριτικής αποδοχής, σε συνεργασία με τις Ammiratore Omonimo Records, TEGA και Pastificio Elettrico.

Η Erika Sofia Sollo είναι Ιταλίδα φωνητική καλλιτέχνης που δραστηριοποιείται κυρίως στον χώρο της σύγχρονης τζαζ, του noise και της αυτοσχεδιαστικής μουσικής. Εστιάζει στην εξερεύνηση της φωνής μέσω "εκτεταμένων τεχνικών" και ηλεκτρονικών εφέ. Συμμετέχει σε πολλές διεπιστημονικές παραστάσεις, συνεργαζόμενη με το θέατρο, τον χορό και εικαστικούς καλλιτέχνες. Είναι επίσης ιδρυτικό και ενεργό μέλος του Lapsus Lumine, ενός συνόλου τριών φωνών και κοντραμπάσου, που ερμηνεύει πρωτότυπες συνθέσεις μεταξύ folk, jazz και αυτοσχεδιασμού. Έχει συνεργαστεί με μουσικούς όπως οι Gino Robair, Paolo Sanna, Stefano Giust, Tristan Honsinger, Gianni Lenoci, Gianni Mimmo, Benedict Taylor, Angelo Contini, Nicola Guazzaloca, Tomomi Adachi, London Improvisers Orchestra, Stefano Risso, Jim Black, Ernst Reijseger και πολλούς άλλους.

ARCO is an open collective project of experimentation on the song form. Three years after his debut album, judged by some critics to be one of the best of the year, ARCO presents ORAMA, his second LP. Twelve tracks for twelve complex personalities built from the shadow areas of consciousness. Union and conflict between male and female, creative will and destruction, solitude and community, nature and technology: ORAMA is a dream of ephemeral lights that seek violently to exist. The demons, violence and defeats that the mind tries to remove are materialized in twelve figures that come to life to proclaim their worldview in a game of mirrors for later disappear into the abyss again. Visions, lives torn apart, awareness, annihilation, anguish, then again joy, music, choral voices, which change and change rooms, saving from asphyxiation.
Multifaceted approaches to build a textual and musical fabric that is enriched by declinations of various genres trying not to adhere to any of them, designed for a immersive form of listening.
The live experience is a blend between digital and analogic instruments, field recordings, dialogs and chants, an inner voyage to detach from the self.

The collective behind ORAMA is made up of Andrea Guerrini, Erika Sofia Sollo, Nicholas Remondino, Cécile Delzant, Filippo Manfredi Giusti with the collaborations of dTHEd, Enrico Gabrielli and Tobia Poltronieri. Recorded in the Indianizer mountain studio by Manuel Volpe (Rubedo Recordings) and mastered by Carl Saff, it is supported by Admiratore Omonimo Records, TEGA and Pastificio Elettrico.

Bio.

Andrea Guerrini was born in Arezzo on 09/12/1988. A self-taught multi-instrumentalist, he
is an active member of Walden Waltz and Moondrive, with whom he made two albums.
Together with Walden Waltz he performs in Europe and the United States, winning a Los
Angeles Music Award in 2012 with the song "Looking down" produced by Ron Nevison
(The Who, Led Zeppelin, etc.). In 2012 in Bologna he took part in the creation of the online
cultural magazine Tropismi.it (music and literature), in 2015 he founded the artistic
collective Pastificio Elettrico (concerts and theater shows). In Turin he writes and plays
music for “Arconti”, audio stories commissioned and broadcast by Radio Banda Larga in
2018. In 2019 he published “Folly Bololy”, the book on Robert Wyatt, for Arcana editions.
In 2020, under the pseudonym ARCO, he produced the album of the same name, for
ammiratoreomonimo Records / Pastificio Elettrico: the first LP after a series of solo self-
productions focused on experimenting with the song form. In 2023 he releases his second,
critical acclaimed, album ORAMA (ammiratoreomonimo records, TEGA, Pastificio
Elettrico).

Erika Sofia Sollo is an Italian vocalist who works mainly in the context of contemporary
jazz, noise and improvised music, focusing on the exploration of the voice with the use
of "extended techniques" and electronic effects.
She works in many interdisciplinary performances with theater, dance and visual artists.
She is also founder and active member of Lapsus Lumine: a three voices and a double-
bass ensemble, which plays original compositions between folk, jazz and improvisation.
She played with musicians such as Gino Robair, Paolo Sanna, Stefano Giust, Tristan
Honsinger, Gianni Lenoci, Gianni Mimmo, Benedict Taylor, Angelo Contini, Nicola
Guazzaloca, Tomomi Adachi, London Improvisers Orchestra, Stefano Risso, Jim Black,
Ernst Reijseger and many others.
