Saturday 10. May at 12:00 - 22:00
Stillingfleet Village Institute, York
This year’s “Tackling the North Face!” festival will take place on Saturday 10th May in Stillingfleet Village Hall, from 12 noon until the barrels run dry.
Following last year’s sell-out festival, this year’s festival is again an “Advance Tickets Only” event, so please buy your tickets early! Either online via this website or in person at Stillingfleet Pop Up Pub nights on 21 March or 11 April (whilst tickets still available).
Our small-but-perfectly-formed festivals are very popular, attracting people from far and wide to enjoy the unique atmosphere of a Yorkshire village community event. There’ll be a fine selection of excellent Yorkshire real ales to try, plus real ciders, as well as wine, prosecco and soft drinks, complemented by delicious, freshly-prepared festival food.
We’ll also have a great line-up of live music acts during the afternoon and early evening – something for all tastes – plus a Prize Raffle if you're feeling lucky!
Stillingfleet is 7 miles south of York – take the Arriva 42 bus service from York Piccadilly or Selby town centre, or we’re just a mile from the Selby – York cycle path.
As usual, we’re raising much-needed funds for the upkeep and maintenance of our 98 year old Village Hall - this time specifically focused on tackling the north face (insulating the north-facing wall to keep us all warm and dry!). So you will be supporting our fund-raising whilst having a fun day out!
