12th Philadelphia Tango Festival: La Poesia del Abrazo

IMPORTANT UPDATE: Due to circumstances beyond our (and their) control, Los Totis have to postpone their visit to Philadelphia. Their P-3 artist visa was approved on January 5, 2024, but the approval letter got lost in the mail. Despite pursuing every avenue that the USCIS offers to replace the letter, and despite getting our Congressman’s office involved, working directly with the USCIS, we have been unable to replace the lost letter. It is maddening and Kafka-esque and quite hard to believe. We held out hope until the last minute, but in the end, Los Totis will have to postpone their visit to Philadelphia to October 18-20, 2024.

We very much regret this change of plans, but are also super grateful to Ines Muzzopappa and Donato Juarez for stepping in to teach and perform at the very last minute. You can already see the resulting schedule revisions here.

An email with options will go out today to all registrants. And pre-registration will remain open until this Wednesday, May 22 at midnight, including a limited number of single milonga tickets.

The 2024 Philadelphia Tango Festival will explore the theme, La Poesia del Abrazo (The Poetry of the Tango Embrace).
