This autumn, the TYPA centre is once again inviting everyone to its autumn workshop sessions! If you’ve been interested in the workshops we offer, now’s your chance to take part. Over four Sundays, we’ve got a programme featuring both new and tried-and-tested workshops – all you need to do is buy a ticket to take part!
An introductory linocut workshop is scheduled for 4 October. We will cut a linocut printing plate, which we will then use to make a few prints on our museum’s oldest printing press. The workshop is ideal for those who are interested in linocut but have not yet had the chance to try it.
(To prepare, it is good to come with a plan, we recommend finding an image for inspiration.
NB! The image must be black and white, gradients cannot be printed with linocut.)
None of the workshop require any previous experience. All workshops are also suitable for kids at least 12 year old.
