Erik Drescher on Berliinis tegutsev vabakutseline flötist, interpreet ja kaasaegse muusika kuraator.
Lisaks väga aktiivsele rahvusvahelisele sooloesineja karjäärile on ta esinenud paljudes kaasaegse muusika ansamblites. Ta on esitanud tohutul hulgal uusi teoseid, millest suurem osa on samuti tema tellitud ja talle pühendatud.

Sound Plasma 2022 inspireeritud elektrooniliste helide intonatsioonist, katsetades elektroakustilise muusika hõnguga uusi intonatsiooniideid. Kontserdi avakontserdil esitab möödunud aastakümnete elektroonilisi helisid hoopis akustilise intonatsiooni kontekstis saksa flöödimängija ja tunnustatud nüüdismuusika edendaja Erik Drescher. Kontserdil esitleb ta Sound Plasmal spetsiaalselt COVID-i pandeemia aastatel välja töötatud projekti, mis valmis koostöös maineka helilooja Peter Ablingeriga.

Erik Drescher is a freelance flutist, performer and curator for contemporary music based in Berlin.
In addition to a very active international career as a solo performer, he has performed in many ensembles for contemporary music. He has premiered an enormous number of new pieces, the majority of which were also commissioned by him and dedicated to him.

Sound Plasma 2022 is inspired by the intonation of electronic sounds, experimenting with new intonation ideas with a touch of electroacoustic music. At the opening concert of the concert, the electronic sounds of the past decades will be presented in the context of acoustic intonation by the German flutist and renowned modern music promoter Erik Drescher. At the concert, he presents a project specially developed during the years of the COVID pandemic. The piece was completed in collaboration with the renowned composer Peter Ablinger.
