AIMA'S MOST WANTED: An English Stand-Up Comedy Show & Work in Progress
It's always nice to be wanted.
As two Latino comedians living abroad, we've spent a lot of time being wanted by immigration offices, government agencies, paperwork departments, and occasionally romantic partners (one more than the other won’t say which).
Join Brazilian comedian Francesco and Costa Rican comedian Brandon for a special work-in-progress show as they prepare new solo hours and test material before taking it on the road across Europe (or at least as far as the Schengen Agreement and low-cost airlines will allow ).
Expect jokes about immigration, identity, culture clashes, language barriers, bureaucracy, family expectations, and the unique experience of having names that somehow don't match what people expect.
As Latinos, we don't mind working, so come see how much effort we've put into this show.
And if you're from AIMA, their names are João and José, all documents are in order, and there is absolutely nothing suspicious happening here.
