Janno Trump Clarity Ensemble (EE) will perform at the Viljandi Guitar Festival on October 20.

Janno Trump Clarity Ensemble is the latest musical project by Janno Trump, one of the most respected young composers and bassists in the Estonian jazz scene. In his latest work, the author tries to find a common ground between improvisational and classical music.

In his work, Janno has always tried to balance the spiritual and physical music experience. While the spiritual aspect of the music written for his previous solo project, JT Conception, is often hidden behind rhythmic and engaging function screws, the Clarity Ensemble, as the name suggests, brings the author's thoughts to the audience clearly and directly, in the most acoustic and natural way possible. The new creative period is inspired by the crispness of Nordic life, its beauty and Estonian nature. As the entire concert program was composed by Janno while living in the Netherlands, it reflects a distant look at his homeland and his roots.
