Group Discussion - Transformation & Emotions in Polyamory
Mandag 23. juni klokken 19:00 - 21:00
Mashti Community, Oslo
Doors open from 18:30, please arrive before 18:50
Calling all curious, tender, questioning humans, join us for an open group discussion on polyamory, where we’ll explore the inner terrain of love, relating, and transformation.
After hosting a few panel discussions at Mashti and being amazed by the depth of wisdom, vulnerability, and lived experience shared by the audience, we’re feeling the call to open up more space, not just for talks, but for true connection, reflection, and mutual support.
This time, we’re gathering as a smaller group of up to 20 people to keep the space intimate, grounded, and open for deeper sharing.
This gathering is for everyone walking the path of non-monogamy: whether you're seasoned in the lifestyle and ready to share your insights, or newly “opened up” and longing for a safe, intimate space to listen, ask, and feel less alone. It's a soft landing for those with questions, and a fertile ground for those with stories and tools to offer.
The evening will include both guiding questions and time for open sharing, with space for anyone to ask their own questions from wherever they’re at in their journey.
Whether you're just beginning to wonder about non-monogamy, deep in the practice, or floating somewhere in between, this space is for you. Bring your lingering questions, your complicated emotions, your lived experiences — or simply your listening presence.
We’ll begin with a few reflections, such as:
- What does it truly mean to “open up” a relationship, and why do we want to?
- What fears, fantasies, or surprises arise as we move from monogamy to polyamory?
- What kinds of agreements, boundaries, or communication tools actually work, not just in theory, but in real life?
- How do we tell the difference between discomfort that invites growth and red flags that signal harm?
So far, our conversations around polyamory, especially during past panel talks, have been rich, raw, and deeply meaningful. Every question asked, every experience shared, has helped deepen our collective understanding of what it means to love and relate in expansive, intentional, and courageous ways. We want to keep that energy alive.
Host
Margherita, a queer woman, has long been passionate about exploring polyamory in all its complexity. She approaches this conversation with curiosity and care, hoping to continue fostering shared spaces where the beauty and struggles of different relationship styles can be explored openly and honestly.
Join us at Mashti as we co-create a soft, brave space grounded in curiosity, care, and collective wisdom.
No fixed agenda. No experts. No right answers. Just a circle of humans, helping each other navigate the beauty, the mess, and the mystery of polyamory.
