Stories carry power. When shared, they can heal, inspire, and remind us we’re not alone.
The Human Library is a space for honest storytelling, where people are invited to speak from the heart, listen with care, and connect with one another. Each gathering offers a window into someone’s lived experience, moments of struggle, growth, joy, and transformation.
You’re welcome to share, reflect, or simply listen. There’s no pressure, only presence.
On May 5th, Ashley shares her story of breaking free from a cult.
She grew up within the strict framework of Jehovah’s Witnesses, a high-control, fundamentalist Christian group.
At 27, she experienced what she calls her “matrix moment,” a profound awakening that led her to walk away from everything she had ever known in order to create a life rooted in truth and self-discovery.
Now, she invites you into an open-hearted conversation about breaking free, from religious and societal indoctrination, from sexual repression, from toxic relationships, and from systems that dim our light and silence our authenticity.
This is an invitation to explore how we unlearn, reclaim, and reconnect, with ourselves and each other.
This event is donation-based, choose a free ticket or contribute an amount that feels good to you. Registration is required to save your spot.
