Line-up for the show on October 11, 2025:
HEADLINER:
Pavlo Voytovych (@palyacomedian)
Originally from Ukraine, he started performing stand-up in English after moving to Berlin in 2015 and quickly established himself in the European English comedy circuit. Pavlo regularly performs around Germany and Europe. His credits include Comedy Central Germany, ZDFneo, SoYouThinkYou'reFunny? 2018 (semi-finalist).
"Pavlo presented a slick club set with cosmopolitan, pan-European reference points that would chime in his adopted Berlin." - Stewart Lee, The Guardian.
HOST:
Tim Whelan (@whelan_verfuegbar)
Originally from Liverpool, England, Tim moved to Berlin in 2010 and by complete accident co-founded the English comedy scene, a move which has made other people an awful lot of money! Keen observations, kindly German-jostling and nerdish monologues rub shoulders in his comedy. Tim has hosted hundreds of shows in Berlin and beyond, from Bayreuth to Beirut, Helsinki and the Edinburgh festival. He regularly performs in English and German causing laughter and bemusement in equal measure!

Prizes: Konstantin Comedy Prize 2022, Prix Pantheon 2020, NDR Comedy Contest 2018
Anja Woot (@anja.woot)
Anja Woot was cultivated and harvested in Slovenia. She does not shy away from sharing intimate stories with unanticipated twists and a quirky sense of humour that keeps you captivated with laughter and questions like "But why would anyone do this?". She also loves screaming into the void (mostly Taylor Swift lyrics).
Her comedy has often been described as "ahahaha", "so good, the best" and "please, get off the stage, this is a strip club".
In 2021, she joined forces with the marvellous Carmen Chraim and Kat Nip, and formed the female collective Queen Bees Comedy in Berlin. Together they run a monthly showcase called “That’s What She Said” with an all-female line-up, as well as an open mic for women & LGBTQI+ performers with the title “Yaaas Queen” and other comedy shows, and are all about empowering voices that need to be listened to!
Matthias Ludwig (@matthias.ludwig)
Matthias Ludwig used to work as a stuntman and acrobat, until he realized that there are easier ways to get hurt. Missing his most vital lessons from school days (how do I make the room laugh) he decided it was time to take the action to the comedy stage. These days Matthias is a comedian and actor, with the clear goal to make people either laugh or cry. Or both.
