GALA SHOW - International Oriental Dance Mini-Festival

At the glamorous gala show of the International Oriental Dance Mini-Festival, the audience can enjoy the best of professional Estonian belly dancers. The main performer is the European belly dance superstar - Kathreen Derouet from the Czech Republic. During the evening, the audience is also welcome to enjoy the bar and dance to oriental rhythms.

Kathreen Derouet has dedicated all her life to dance, for more than 30 years. Since 2012, she has been the artistic director of Let’s Dance Prague International Festival. She performs and teaches not only in Czech Republic, but also abroad as a world-renowned dancer and oriental dance teacher. Her elegant and emotional dance style has fascinated dancers all over the world and her students adore her way of teaching, which is full of important details, expressions, feelings and connection between body and soul.

In autumn, Oriental Dance lovers gather for one weekend in Estonia to take part in the International Oriental Dance Festival. The annual festival is the longest running Oriental Dance event in Estonia, this year including dance workshops, a gala show an Oriental Bazaar. The event brings together dancers from every corner of Estonia, the neighbouring countries and beyond.

The event is organised by the Estonian Chamber of Oriental Dance.
