In relationships, we all want to feel secure, chosen, and valued. Yet even in spaces where trust exists, jealousy can quietly emerge. Trust holds us steady. Jealousy unsettles us. Somewhere in between, we begin to understand what we truly need from others and from ourselves. So what if these two are not opposites?
What if jealousy doesn’t always mean a lack of trust but a reaction to what we fear losing, what we need, or what we long for?
In this session, we will explore the interplay between trust and jealousy, how they can clash, but also how they can reveal and even strengthen one another. Jealousy often carries more than suspicion: it can be a signal of attachment, a fear of disconnection, or a desire to feel chosen and secure. At the same time, trust asks us to stay open, to tolerate uncertainty, and to remain grounded even when doubt appears.
So what happens when these two forces meet?
Can jealousy exist within trust, without destroying it?
When does jealousy become a threat… and when can it become information?
How do insecurity, past experiences, and imagination shape what we feel?
Is trust something we give, or something we continuously rebuild in moments of doubt?
What role do communication, reassurance, and boundaries play in transforming jealousy into connection?
Rather than seeing jealousy only as something to avoid, we’ll explore how it can uncover unmet needs, hidden fears, and deeper desires and how, when acknowledged, it can even become a pathway to greater intimacy and understanding.
This is a space to sit with complexity where trust is not taken for granted, and jealousy is not immediately judged, but explored with curiosity and care.

For the past three years, Zoran has been exploring sex-positive spaces and alternative relationship types. This journey became infinitely easier and more fulfilling after discovering the Mashti community, where he connected with others on similar paths, people eager to talk, share experiences, and inspire and support one another. He is passionate about creating psychologically safe spaces where people can be vulnerable, curious, and open with each other, and he brings that energy to his role as a group discussion facilitator at Mashti.
Margherita, a queer woman, has long been passionate about exploring polyamory in all its complexity. She approaches this conversation with curiosity and care, hoping to continue fostering shared spaces where the beauty and struggles of different relationship styles can be explored openly and honestly.
Please note that tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by us.
