After many rich conversations and heartfelt stories shared in our space, this time we’d like to explore the importance of navigating safety in multi-partner dynamics. We will ask:
-
What it means to create safety in polyamorous relationships.
-
How do we build trust and create a feeling of safety when relationships expand and change?
-
What practices help us feel secure, seen, and respected - both with partners and with metamours?
-
How do we navigate boundaries, agreements, communication styles, and needs in ways that foster connection rather than control?
Together we’ll explore the many layers of safety: from feeling secure internally to relational agreements, from handling insecurities with care to creating environments where everyone can show up authentically. We’ll talk about comfort and vulnerability, autonomy and reassurance, conflict and repair, and the ongoing work of cultivating relationships where each person can thrive.
This group discussion invites around 20 people into an atmosphere of empathy and curiosity, where personal stories and shared insights can unfold. It’s open to everyone: those new to polyamory, those with years of experience, monogamous people simply curious about non-monogamy, partners, metamours, and anyone seeking to better understand how safety is created and sustained in multi-partner dynamics.
It’s a space where we nurture honesty, thoughtful listening, and collective reflection - a place where we can learn from one another, deepen our relational skills, strengthen our sense of community and feel like we belong just the way we are.
Host
For the past three years, Zoran has been exploring sex-positive spaces and alternative relationship types. This journey became infinitely easier and more fulfilling after discovering the Mashti community, where he connected with others on similar paths, people eager to talk, share experiences, and inspire and support one another. He is passionate about creating psychologically safe spaces where people can be vulnerable, curious, and open with each other, and he brings that energy to his role as a group discussion facilitator at Mashti.
Join us at Mashti as we co-create a soft, brave space grounded in collective wisdom. Bring your lingering questions, your complicated emotions, your lived experiences, or simply your listening presence. There will be fixed agenda, no experts, no right answers. Just a circle of humans, helping each other navigate the beauty, the mess, and the mystery of love and relationships.
Please note that tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by us.
