This first gathering of the new year is an open discussion. Rather than focusing on a single theme, we’re creating space for whatever feels most alive for the people in the room.
You’re invited to bring questions you’ve been holding, topics you’d like collective perspective on, experiences you want to reflect on, or situations where you’re seeking understanding or support. You’re also welcome to share stories that have affirmed you, challenged you, or reminded you why non-monogamy can feel meaningful and nourishing.
- What questions are you wrestling with right now?
- What dynamics are you curious about, confused by, or proud of?
- What experiences have shaped how you practice non-monogamy, or how you want to grow this year?
The conversation will unfold organically, guided by the interests and needs of those present. We’ll listen, reflect, and respond with care, recognizing that there are many valid ways to practice non-monogamy and many different paths of learning.
This group discussion invites around 20 people into a setting grounded in respect, empathy, and thoughtful dialogue. It’s open to everyone: people new to non-monogamy, those with long-standing experience, monogamous people curious about non-monogamy, partners, metamours, and anyone interested in exploring multi-partner relationships through shared reflection.
We aim to create an atmosphere of respect, empathy, and attentiveness, where people can speak from their own experience, listen generously, and participate at their own pace. This is a community space for reflection, support, and connection, a place to start the year grounded in openness and shared humanity.
Hosts
For the past three years, Zoran has been exploring sex-positive spaces and alternative relationship types. This journey became infinitely easier and more fulfilling after discovering the Mashti community, where he connected with others on similar paths, people eager to talk, share experiences, and inspire and support one another. He is passionate about creating psychologically safe spaces where people can be vulnerable, curious, and open with each other, and he brings that energy to his role as a group discussion facilitator at Mashti.
Margherita, a queer woman, has long been passionate about exploring polyamory in all its complexity. She approaches this conversation with curiosity and care, hoping to continue fostering shared spaces where the beauty and struggles of different relationship styles can be explored openly and honestly.
Please note that tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by us.
