As Pride Month is upon us, we're inviting you to join us for an evening exploring the intersections of queerness, ethical non-monogamy, and intentional relationships.

Many of us grow up with assumptions about what relationships should look like: who we should love, how many people we should love, what commitment means, and which forms of intimacy are valued most. Both queer communities and ENM communities have often challenged these norms, creating space for new ways of relating, connecting, and building chosen families.

Together we'll explore topics such as relationship norms, chosen family, autonomy, jealousy, communication, desire, community care, and the many ways people build meaningful connections outside traditional scripts.

We will also ask:

  • If queerness invites us to rethink who we can love, does ENM invite us to rethink how we love?

  • Why do queer and ENM communities so often find themselves in conversation with one another?

  • Do they share a deeper challenge to relationship norms, or simply a history of overlapping communities?

  • And when we begin questioning one social script, does it become easier to question others?

Rather than debating what relationships should look like, we'll create space to explore the diversity of ways people love, connect, and support one another.

Whether you're queer, ENM, both, neither, or simply curious, you're welcome to join the conversation.

Hosts

For the past three years, Zoran has been exploring sex-positive spaces and alternative relationship types. This journey became infinitely easier and more fulfilling after discovering the Mashti community, where he connected with others on similar paths, people eager to talk, share experiences, and inspire and support one another. He is passionate about creating psychologically safe spaces where people can be vulnerable, curious, and open with each other, and he brings that energy to his role as a group discussion facilitator at Mashti.

Margherita, a queer woman, has long been passionate about exploring polyamory in all its complexity. She approaches this conversation with curiosity and care, hoping to continue fostering shared spaces where the beauty and struggles of different relationship styles can be explored openly and honestly.

Please note that tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by us.
