In this hands-on workshop, you join an intimate class of maximum ten comedians to refine your material, master timing and delivery, and construct a powerful, expanded set.
You will polish your best existing jokes, develop fresh material, and seamlessly stitch them together into a longer, professional performance. Along the way, you’ll sharpen your stage presence, crowd work, and joke mechanics alongside a tight-knit crew of peers who are at your exact skill level.
This class includes a live showcase where you will perform your brand-new set in front of a real audience.
With capacity strictly capped at ten spots to guarantee personalized feedback and dedicated stage time, space is extremely limited. Secure your ticket for Live & Learn 2: Next steps in Stand-up Comedy today and take the next big step in your comedy journey.

Here's what students write about TCT School of Standup:
“I rarely meet someone who is both this respectful and this direct. Alex doesn’t beat around the bush and will tell you the truth to help you improve, not to force you into a mold. He’s very sensitive to what you personally need to grow as a comedian.” – Bianca Zwart
“TCT classes are great for anyone who’s ever seen a comedian (live or on TV) and had even the slightest inkling of ‘could I do that too?’” – Lennard van Ree
Alex is an amazing teacher, and the people that he attracts to the course have been amazing people. He holds a high standard for etiquette, so it’s a safe space to both push boundaries but know you’re in safe hands - Erin Weigel
I really liked the half and half: feedback one week and perform the other. It helps with writing and performing - Isa
