For this second edition, we have not one but TWO days of cozy darkness for you! Six bands, both local and international, will unleash their take on darkness upon you.
DAY I: DOOM BLACK
THE FIFTH ALLIANCE (NL):
Doom/(post)(black) metal from Breda, The Netherlands. The band formed in late 2006. Originally starting out as a chaotic hardcoreband, they slowly shaped and developed their sound into a hybrid of gut-wrenching doom, bleak post-metal and blending it with hypnotic black metal elements. The Fifth Alliance is one of the first bands we booked a "bigger" show with. Now they return to present their fourth album "Stenahoria". New singer Natalya takes the band to darker places than ever before... Judge for yourself!

BRAVE MURDER NIGHT (BE):
A temporary constellation of scene veterans (Kludde, Toorn, Cyclone, Rudenya), bringing homage to Katatonia and their classic sophomore album Brave Murder Day, which turned 30 in August of this year.

ALDRIG (BE):
Risen from the ashes of Soul Grip, Aldrig is a unification of black metal, sludge and post-metal, combined with visceral, layered vocals. Aldrig creates an avant-garde sonic landscape that reigns cathartic. Both anointing and abrasive, their first record “Yağmur” is a vessel for grief. We welcome them back after their legendary performance at Gentse Feesten in 2024!

DAY II: ATMOSPHERIC BLACK
A FOREST OF STARS (UK):
This year's headliner, and with good reason. Twenty years of Victorian black metal with a psychedelic avant-garde touch. We have worked with them before, prior even to the foundation of NNC, and have been longing for their return ever since. Now, they are back presenting their sixth studio album "Stack Overflow In Corpse Pile Interface"!

MATAVITATAU (BE):
Of course we all remember this rambunctious bunch of Latin heretics from last edition, but we have a very good reason to bring them back: they are celebrating five years of filthy, dark, nineties black metal AND presenting their sophomore album "Taeda Inversa"!

NEMOROUS (UK):
Atmospheric black metal in the great pagan tradition of bands such as Elderwind and Perennial Isolation. While Nemorous only formed in 2018, they sprout from the ashes of Wodensthrone. Presenting their 2025 album "What Remains When Hope Has Failed"!
