Kom op 22 April naar de 2023 Series gepresenteerd door Kleine Concerten in samenwerking met cultureel centrum Mariengaarde. Deze avond zullen we genieten van het werk van het Bello - Balińska Duet, een interdisciplinair duo gevormd door de Colombiaanse saxofonist David Bello en de Poolse danseres Olga Balińska. Ze zullen muziek interpreteren van componisten zoals Jacob TV, Culotti, en Cockcroft!

Kaarten kunnen online of aan de ingang op dezelfde dag van het concert worden gekocht met pin of contant.

Over Bello - Balińska Duet

Ze hebben elkaar voor het eerst ontmoet op de Fontys Hogeschool voor de Kunsten in Tilburg. Olga volgde de opleiding dans en choreografie, terwijl David saxofoon studeerde aan de Master of Music. Samen verkennen ze vrije improvisatie waardoor een taal ontstaat waarin een dialoog tussen dans en muziek mogelijk is. Ook hebben ze een repertoire aan gechoreografeerde stukken die aanvankelijk voor saxofoon waren geschreven samengesteld. Ofwel, dit duo weet een nieuw en opwindend perspectief met betrekking tot deze twee kunstdisciplines te bieden.

Come and join us on the 22 of April for the 2023 Series of Kleine Concerten in collaboration with the cultural center Mariengaarde. This evening we will have the delight of seeing the work of the Bello - Balińska Duet, an interdisciplinary duo conformed by the Colombian saxophone player David Bello and the Polish dancer Olga Balińska. They will interpret music from composers such as Jacob TV, Culotti, Cockcroft, and more!

Tickets can be bought online or at the entrance on the same day of the concert with a debit card or cash.

About Bello - Balińska Duet

They met each other for the first time at the Fontys School for the Arts in Tilburg. Olga was in the dance and choreography program, while David studied saxophone at the Master of Music. Together they explore free improvisation through which a language is developed that makes a dialogue between dance and music possible. They also have been creating a repertoire of choreographed pieces initially written for saxophone. In other words, this duo manages to offer a new and exciting perspective on these two art disciplines.
