Fittingoff — concert by Araik Vietinghoff

Pianist/composer/improviser of Armenian descent, born in the Soviet Union, raised in Russia, influenced by American and British alternative rock and indie, and French and German electronic music.
Works with both well-tuned and broken instruments. Besides his solo career, Araik Vietinghoff is a pianist to a few bands and collaborations, and R for Rehab – free improv piano+electronics site-specific live project with a goal to revive old substandard pianos.
Takes part in developing improvised music scene in Russia, Belarus and Georgia. Advocates pop/rock and electronic music patterns in piano works and improvisations.
