About the venue: A taproom and beer garden rated 4.4 from around 150 reviews, mid-priced. Note it is closed Mondays, opening 4pm to 11:30pm Tuesday and Wednesday and from midday on Thursday. Getting there: The venue is on Spring Street in downtown Stamford. Stamford Transportation Center is a fourteen-minute walk — a little far but very much usable — and puts Grand Central around fifty minutes away on Metro-North, with Amtrak also calling there. That gives the venue a genuine New York catchment. Downtown Stamford has garages and street parking for anyone driving.
