Hiking Adventures #10 - From Bahrija to Golden Bay (Epic one!)

🗺️ We start at the outskirts of Bahrija, from a small place called Kuncizzjoni. We walk along a small road enjoying some spectacular views northwards until we pass some Victorian Military Barracks before turning towards Fomm Ir-Rih Bay. Passing this bay we walk on rural roads and dirt roads until reaching Fomm Ir-Rih plateau overlooking Gnejna Bay.
We make our way down to the beach, and follow a trail along the waterline past the geo formation of The Fourteen Soldiers. As we get to Ta’ Babu Cove, we head up on top of the plateau overlooking Qarraba Bay, before turning down towards the rock formation of Il-Qarraba, where we walk around the rock. We continue past Riviera Beach to Ghajn Tuffieha Tower before finishing the short trip to Golden Bay along the coast

🙋🏼‍♂️IS IT FOR ME? if you have a decent level of stamina, hiking will be fine for you! Come with your friends or alone, either ways you will find a welcoming international environment.

👥WHO PARTICIPATES? Expats, English Students, Erasmus, Interns, Volunteers, Digital Nomads, Maltese people, Tourists & Couchsurfers. All nationalities and age groups!

🕰️ WHEN: Our adventures take place every Sunday (weather permitting) at 11:00 AM. The return is at around 16:30.

📍 WHERE: We meet at the doors of Burger King of Sliema. The return is at the same place of the departure.

👟 BRING & WEAR: water, a meal (like a sandwich, panini, etc), good walking shoes (not flip-flop!) and a jacket (if windy/cold).
