After our previous conversations on depression and anxiety this autumn, many shared that their struggle isn’t always visible or dramatic. Instead it shows up as constant thinking, tension in the body, and a mind that cannot find rest. In response to this need, we are opening a session dedicated to living with generalized anxiety.

For some, anxiety is not a sudden panic attack. It is waking up already worried. It is scanning every moment for potential mistakes, disappointment, or danger. It is trying to control the future while carrying the weight of a thousand “what ifs.” Over time, this mental vigilance becomes exhausting. Our world shrinks. We become trapped in our head instead of present in our life.

In this gathering, we’ll explore how generalized anxiety develops and how chronic worry is maintained by the brain’s attempt to protect us. We’ll shine a gentle light on the inner alarm system that never seems to turn off, and the harsh inner voice that asks us to be prepared for everything, all the time.

We will begin with a short psychoeducational talk explaining the “worry loop,” the body’s stress response, and why the mind believes worry is helpful. Then we’ll move into group reflection with guiding questions and optional sharing. Together, we’ll explore how to build a more compassionate relationship with our thoughts and learn two practical strategies for stepping out of the cycle of “worrying about worrying.”

This is not about becoming perfectly calm or forcing the mind to be silent. It’s about creating room to breathe again. It’s about noticing the patterns that keep us on alert and discovering small ways to soften their grip. We hope you leave with both validation and grounded tools you can use in daily life.

We will be gathering as a small group of up to 20 people in an intimate space for honest connection. Come exactly as you are: restless, tired, hopeful, uncertain. All of you is welcome here.

Host
Kine is a medical doctor (general medicine family practice), registered nurse, and cognitive behavioral therapist. She carries deep professional knowledge, but also a personal understanding of what it means to live in a nervous system that works a little too hard.

After years of perfectionism, anxiety, and pushing through life’s pressures, she chose a different path: to stop performing and start listening inwardly. Through mindfulness, neurodiversity-affirming work, and her own healing journey, she learned to relate differently to worry rather than fight it.

Today, she works with medication-assisted psychotherapy, supporting others with anxiety, depression, trauma, and the complexities of being human. Her approach is grounded, real, and free from judgment. She believes in honest conversations, inner permission to be imperfect, and spaces where masks can fall away.
Kine warmly invites you into a circle where you don’t have to hold everything together. You can simply arrive.

Join us for a compassionate, practical exploration of the anxious mind. It’s not therapy and it’s not a quick fix, but maybe you’ll leave knowing your mind a little better. And maybe tomorrow might feel just a little softer.

Please note that tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by us.
